images of Soham were taken from St Andrews Church Tower in May 2000.

On
the left is a view of the Recreation Ground facing Clay Street, also
showing Lion Mills before demolition.
Right is a view of the Recreation Ground, showing part of Fountain Lane
to the right of the picture.

The
photo on the left shows Fountain Lane in the foreground. and the
Northern area of Soham.
On the right shows the High Street, showing the Market Place at the top
left of the picture. At the top right of the picture you can see the
entrance to White Hart Lane.

The
photo on the left is a view looking South towards Clay St. The field
with the large dark tree in the centre now houses the new Budgens
Supermarket . The large building to the left of the tree is The Baptist
Church situated in Clay St.
On the right is a view showing White Hart Lane in the centre of the
picture leading upwards from High Street. East Fen Common can be seen
in the distance.
