Millcroft is a small lane with Fordham Road at one end and The Butts at the other, it is on a map of 1656 in the same position but no name is shown except for the area it is located in called Windmill Crofts. On a map of 1841 it is called Mill Croft, the area then being called Mill Croft. In 1902 a Corn Windmill is shown nearby.
