Spencer Drove is a short drove that runs from Mereside down to the Railway Line near Soham Lode. Faintly marked on a map of 1656 going all the way to Soham Lode with one House at its end with Mereside but no name is shown. Again shown in 1841, still no name shown but still running down to the Lode, in 1876 named Spencer Drove, and also in 1902 shown as being called Spencer Drove but stopping at the Railway Line.
