Station road sohamStation Road sohamStation Road was once named Pump Lane due to the fact that the Village Pump once stood at the entrance to this Lane from Cross Green. also once known as Cock Lane, and on a map of 1656 it is called Thompsons Lane. It was renamed Station Road in the 1870's, as it leads down to the Railway Station, half way down this road are the junctions for Gardiners Lane, Fountain Lane & West Drive Gardens.
